Using a business simulation this one–day course takes non–financial managers from little or no understanding of the finances of a business to an appreciation of the effect of all areas on the financial wellbeing of the business.
It covers the preparation of Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements in a way that is informative, enjoyable, and competitive among the delegates. At the end of the course delegates will understand why ‘cash is king’ within the business and why short– and long–term decisions may cause conflict and lead to problems within the business.
This is an unusual way of making the understanding of finance easy and enjoyable. This is a very hands–on course with very little ‘chalk and talk’ and delegates learn by doing, rather than just listening.
