Christopher Wells & Associates Ltd

Chris has been working in the Finance and Management Accounting field for more than 35 years and is a CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) Practising Certificate Holder. He is also a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Having gained practical experience working for a number of companies, Chris set up his own business more than 30 years ago with the aim of providing management accountancy services to clients, as well as providing business consultancy services, lecturing/training and advising on business improvement and effectiveness. Whilst not a qualified engineer, Chris uses the knowledge gained as a commercial apprentice, and also when working with high precision manufacturing companies and in Research & Development, to be able to bridge the gap between finance, production and engineering when advising clients and when lecturing.

As well as manufacturing Chris has worked with companies and individuals in the retail (both online and high street), insurance, banking, design and food sectors.

As a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Chris is in an ideal position to advise businesses and individuals not only on efficiency improvements but also the financial effect of those improvements. In today’s rapidly moving environment profitable effectiveness is so much more important than just efficiency.

What makes Chris different to so many consultants is that as well as consulting for other businesses he uses the techniques he recommends in his own small food-based business. Practicality rather than theory is at the heart of Chris’ work.

Chris has worked with companies throughout Europe and speaks French to Diplome D’Etudes En Langue Francaise level DELF B1 and B2.
